However, Bob also loves to use the show as an outreach event where the Gospel is clearly shared. One format looks like this: First, a one hour show, then the MC takes the stage for 10 minutes and can share ministry info about the church, or videos, etc. Then Bob returns to the stage out of character as himself and shares the gospel for about 15 minutes. This method allows him to keep the entertainment the entertainment, and the gospel the gospel. It also gives the church a few minutes of time to introduce themselves to any new faces from the community. This type of outreach show could be described as a bring a friend event and Bob shares the clear Gospel message, explaining Law and Grace (We broke God’s Law, but Jesus paid our “fine”). If time is restrictive, then a shorter show, with no break is possible in which the Gospel is also presented. Other ways you might consider using Bob are at Youth Retreats and Conventions, Camps, Schools, Banquets or UPWARD events.
Note: Bob will not replace a Sunday morning service with a performance.
