After a long, wonderful spiritual day, we were ushered to a hall for some type of performance. I assumed it would be some guy with a guitar singing “Kumbaya”. When I heard he was some type of magician, I was even more skeptical. However as I sat in the audience I was quickly swept up in his stage presence, charm, and humor. It’s not everyday you see a full grown man playing Dance Dance Revolution, not to mention a full grown man memorizing a song on expert well enough to juggle pins at the same time. Even more seldom seen is a full grown man on a 6-foot unicycle juggling milk, a tea cup, and a dagger. All in all it was a fascinating show that was totally captivating for audiences of all ages. Birthday party of the year anyone? Also immediately after the show, every third kid had a chinese yoyo. You couldn’t walk more than a minute without sidestepping a flying cone type thing. Everyone was buzzing with excitement and the energy was flying through the air nearly as quickly as a bag of milk.

I am delighted to recommend Bob Cates and his Comedy in Motion show. It was Bob's third time at Youth Quake and his performances were outstanding. This year's addition of the Human Laser Gate was spectacular.

Bob Cates was perfect for our event. He not only was entertaining for the teens, but delivered the gospel message to the teens as well. He was easy to work with and met all of our requests. If you are planning an event that needs entertainment. Bob Cates and Comedy in Motion is just what you are looking for.

We want to extend our thanks for ministering to us at Temple Baptist. The way that you presented the gospel along with the entertaining juggling was a great blessing. I would like to share one wonderful moment that took place in the gym after the service. A six-year-old said to an eight-year-old girl, I'd like to be a believer. The other girl then proceeded to explain to her how to receive Jesus as her Saviour. She also prayed with her taking her through the steps and now this little one is a child of God.
I'm sure this will encourage you to continue serving the Lord and to share with so many spiritually needy children.

I heard great reports about the gifts that God has given to you and the response from the challenge that you gave to the children. I don't know if anyone shared with you, but more than twenty children responded to the invitation that you gave.

Thank you for bringing a great program to Heise Hill for our Kid's Klub Celebration Sunday. People of all ages enjoyed watching you perform. I appreciated your willingness to incorporate spiritual truths in your presentation. You presented the Gospel Message as well as the talents you have perfected over the years. Over 200 kids and adults of all ages sat spellbound for an hour as Bob amazed us with a wide range of incredible feats and skills. Bob has a special gift for communicating with a wide range of ages and backgrounds! As Director of Children’s Ministries I was especially thrilled with the way in which Bob spoke directly and relevantly to the kids and got them actively involved in the performance!
I was impressed with Bob’s organization, his attention to detail and time, his high quality of skills and most of all his great attitude in dealing with people. He obviously loves what he does and it shows! Our church (and community) anticipates having Bob come back. I wholeheartedly recommend Bob Cates.

The Kick Off Sunday for our church ministries programs for the Fall of 1999 was a huge success, largely due to the quality of ministry by Bob Cates. His presentation held our audience of all ages spellbound. Interactive participation by young and old kept everyone involved and excited.
Bob is very gifted, talented and I might add, disciplined entertainer. His ministry represents hours of practice and perseverance. Not only was Bob entertaining and humourous but he also presented a very simple, clear gospel message that anyone could understand. We felt privileged to have Bob with us and would recommend him very highly.

I must say that you made quite an impression on the kids. As a pastor, I must also commend you for your value to our ministry. It is a rare talent to combine such a delightful spectacle with a timeless message from God’s Word. The way you were able to interweave spiritual truths into your performance was refreshing. My 2 year old still talks about the man who can “throw it up… and catch it down!!” Even the most mischievous children in our congregation sat spell bound for an hour! Wow!!
The most encouraging part was the two gentlemen who approached the staff about the message of faith you shared. They want to know more! Praise the Lord! What a unique tool for sharing the gospel. The children, teens, and adults could easily connect Faith with the various demonstrations you performed and juggled through. Way beyond expectations!

These words describe our experience with Bob Cates. Despite swarming mosquitoes for our outdoor event and a confined space for his unicycle, which might have discouraged most performers, Bob amazed each one of us by his willingness to work with his environment and do so with excellence as he juggle knives, torches, balls, bowling pins and spun plates.
I also appreciated Bob for his willingness to incorporate into his program a clear message of the Gospel as he entertained. I would highly recommend Bob to any church planning an outreach event with a focus on the family or children.

We had Bob Cates come to the opening night of our Vacation Bible School and wow did he ever do a fantastic job! The children, teens and adults were amazed by Bob's incredible juggling skills and his great sense of humor. I was especially impressed with the honest and yet sensitive way that he wove the gospel into his presentation.
